Portage will appear in another episode of the well-known promotional travel television show “Discover Wisconsin” next year.
The city’s Tourism Promotion Committee agreed to pay $11,000 to Discover MediaWorks of Madison to produce the television episode as well as conduct a two-year radio, Internet and social media marketing campaign.
“It is a lot of impressions for that kind of money,” said Chad Stevenson, a member of the committee.
